What you will learn

CPR (Primary Care)
The steps and techniques for life-threatening emergencies. You practise 8 skills to help people who are not breathing, have no pulse, may have a spinal injury, are in shock or are bleeding severely. You learn to give first aid and monitor the patient until emergency services arrive.
First aid (Secondary Care)
Many conditions are not life-threatening, and medical help can be delayed. You learn to assess injuries and illnesses, ease pain and reduce the risk of complications, and you practise bandaging and splinting.
Care for Children
Skills for medical emergencies involving children and infants. For anyone who works with children. Usually combined with CPR and first aid.
CPR and AED
First aid and how to use an automated external defibrillator. Covers training required by employers or authorities and is often part of workplace first aid.
First Aid at Work
In some countries, such as the UK, Australia and Canada, regulations require first aid training at work.
EFR Refresher
It is a good idea to refresh your skills every 24 months. The refresher focuses on the core skills.
