About the school
A PADI 5 Star centre, between a classroom in Bucharest and the sea at Eforie Sud.
Black Sea Diving School is a PADI 5 Star accredited dive centre, with instructors and divemasters who follow PADI's highest standards. We are based in Bucharest, and our Black Sea dive centre at Eforie Sud runs from April to October.
We offer every recreational PADI programme, from Bubblemaker for children and Discover Scuba Diving, through beginner courses such as Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver, up to Rescue Diver, Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster and Instructor.

Eforie Sud
April to OctoberFrom April to October, the centre 30 metres from the Black Sea at Eforie Sud. This is where the real diving begins.

What you will find here
Equipment, boats and a sea we know well.
- Up-to-date equipment
- New, mostly from our main supplier SCUBAPRO, alongside Mares. All course equipment is included.
- Our own boats
- A small boat for dives near the shore, and a large one with a powerful engine and radio for dives far from base.
- Kinds of diving
- Night, deep, underwater photography, wrecks, dry suit, full face mask, Nitrox. Most kinds of recreational diving, in the Black Sea.
- Small groups
- Usually no more than 6 students. One-to-one (VIP) training is also available.
By the way, in our spare time we search for wrecks and map the Black Sea. On its floor lie Second World War submarines, warships and merchant ships. If that interests you, you are welcome to help.
